Sustainability appraisal

We have assessed the draft District Vision and Local Plan options through a sustainability appraisal which looks at the different economic, social and environmental implications of each option to help us understand the potential impacts.

The Sustainability Appraisal is an iterative process meaning any outputs of this assessment will be considered in future stages of the Local Plan production. 

Each option is assessed against a matrix, which will then be weighed up and considered in the context of the entire Local Plan.
